First Thursdays=Free!


Free day at Seattle Art Museum, the featured special exhibit was Calder.  Lots of fun balancing mobiles.

And spent some pleasant sunny moments sipping coffee by the Sound and admiring this woven wire thing and ignoring the aggressive pan-handlers.

    Oh, what a fun postcard. I love mobiles, and the wire fence is lovely. Sounds like a fun day; all that was needed was chocolate... and if you had a mocha, I think that counts.

    Of course it was a mocha! I walked past Fran's--out of my budget right now, so some form of affordable chocolate was needed!

    The postcard habit is one I began a few years ago--when I visit someplace, I get one or two and then use them for bookmarks or prop them on my bathroom counter to peruse when I get ready to face the day.
