love & literature


treated myself to a new NYT crossword puzzle book today; Elliott Bay always tucks a bookmark into one's purchase and mine reads:

  1. TRUE, that. We are definitely astonished. But, occasionally, our astonishment fades into satisfaction.

  3. there's a funny scene in a show where the girl is stomping around saying "I choose my choice. I CHOOSE my choice."
