it's icy everywhere--the water bottle in my car is solid. I sleep with a hat on. If electric blankets didn't freak me out, I might invest in one. Although, wouldn't want to pay for the extra electricity it takes to run one. Ironic that it's 20 degrees colder here than in Princeton. Ah well, I would choose to be here and be cold than to return.
Just woke to find that it's 15 degrees out.
Couple of suggestions - you should not have to suffer that much. A sleeping bag made for subzero temps could be placed under your covers to sleep in. Sometimes I put my sleep wear in the dryer for a few minutes to start out warm. There are small (twin) electric blankets that could warm up your bed and be turned off whenever you wish. Here's to a toastier winter in your apartment!
ReplyDeleteThat's about how I'm feeling about the Glasgow sitch. They had slushy puddles -- I come here and get snow. Full on snow. What is wrong with this picture????
