well, drizzling in, but that's fine with me. I enjoy this cool climate. Had a pleasant meander to Pike's today. Not sure why buying produce from a farmer's stand is so much better than at the market, but it just thrills me. Walking from stall to stall and conjuring meal possibilities from the offered produce.
Books and shoes are right up there with food as far as bringing elation and I found a newly opened used-book seller at the Market. Added two new poets to my collection Rimbaud in a nod to my French Melodie class and volume of Sandburg.
Could there be better snackage than fresh button 'shrooms sauted in butter with thyme straight from the garden sill? Here's to a new calendar page.
