I still don't know how they can possibly give you an "annual" review when you started teaching January term. They should have said, "we'll catch you next year." Or in August.
Of course, none of that is the point. The point is that of course you got a great review.
Unbelievably, I've been here four months. And I'd say that is enough time to get the flavor of a teacher's style and rapport with students.
And this has NEVER been done at this school, so it's time. Plus it is linked to the salary schedule (which also has never been in place here), so I am doubly happy.
