pennies from heaven


The rain has been peltingly hard, it feels as though one is being nailed with coinage.  Today's find yielded four pennies over a four block stretch.


But the true tesoro (treasure) of the day was this birthday gift arriving on my doorstep.

    Is that a cookbook?

    I think you're going to have to wait for your bday gift; I'd rather not send you anything from here, postal vagaries being as they are, plus, anything I *send* won't be as fun as something I *bring.*

    Did the link not show up? Yes, it's a lovely book. I found a recipe last night that calls for SIX, yes 6, sticks of butter. You know that has to taste good.

    No worries; gifts are accepted year round.
