life, condensed

The Viking flags were unfurled today--by wind and rain.

And what better way to procrastinate with the packing than to try to make the aioli recipe that was in the Food Section of today's NYT?  It turned out divine; lightly lemony with garlicky undertones.  If only I hadn't packed my large kettle, I could steam some artichokes to go with this.

Life.  Condensed into 40 sq. ft.

  1. So amazing, thinking of you moving across the country again. I hope it goes very well, and that you enjoy your new job. We're doing our own move in July. We will not fit in 40 sq. ft...

  2. I suspect that some of the same reasons prompted me baking an apple cranberry pie and making some sort of potpie-feta-onion tart thing. I just ... got jittery and had to bake.

I wish I had such small square footage. I still feel like I have SO. Much. Stuff. And yet: it's a life. Pots, pans, the whole deal. I've had to give away and rebuy over and over. May this be the last time for awhile... even though I have a suspicion that I doubt it's the last. ::sigh::
