I'm reading a blog of another author who flew to Seattle yesterday - hilariously - and is now housebound at a friend's house when her intention was to be there and photograph birds for a project she's doing.
All the birds she's seeing right now are at a feeder... and her friend is having to thaw the hummingbird's juice...
Meanwhile, not a flake of snow here yet, except on the coast.

Yes, I think my new international students landed this morning. Wonder what they think of all of this snow.
