For appearing so fragile, they are a tough plant--their trellis has been ripped out of the dirt several times during wind storms and they've been pounded by rain. The biggest ones I've ever seen were in Stern Grove--ginormous plants! No, I am not eating these because they're what I stare at when I write in the mornings.
Nasturtiums will bloom forever, if encouraged. Are you eating them? They add a nice touch to salads.
ReplyDeleteThe museum's entryway is lovely.
