19 November

One side of the Seattle Art Museum on my way to visit the Picassos.

French art seemed to need French food for lunch.

Although the snow level is dropping by the day,

my crazy flowers continue to bloom.

cents and scenes from the day

  1. Nasturtiums will bloom forever, if encouraged. Are you eating them? They add a nice touch to salads.

    The museum's entryway is lovely.

  2. For appearing so fragile, they are a tough plant--their trellis has been ripped out of the dirt several times during wind storms and they've been pounded by rain. The biggest ones I've ever seen were in Stern Grove--ginormous plants! No, I am not eating these because they're what I stare at when I write in the mornings.
