My sweet froshie surprised me with this mug this morning. He's so enchanted that he's in the city where Starbucks was born and he's so proud of his hometown possessing Terra Cotta Warriors; so to find something that represents both? Such glee & something I will treasure.
I hope you get to go see those warriors someday. I hear that Xian is beautiful, and have seen some photos that back that up.

Yes, I've many places to visit: Xi'an, Dalian, Harbin, Shanghai and Chengdu.

I love the artwork of that entire area - as well as the warriors there's apparently a tradition of hand-sized little figurines, on horseback. What a fun intersection of here and there for this kid - and for you.
