My gorgeous window
(ignore the fan cord; it hit the 80s and we're suddenly sweltering)
Thai lunch with my TESOL classmates
And wheeeee! My first certificate; now I complete 40 hours of grammar on-line and get another certificate. I cannot tell you how exhilarating it is to even contemplate the concept of FULL-TIME employment after four years of scraping by at the poverty level.
GORGEOUS window, and lovely certificate. I hope those next forty hours go by with a quickness, and I hope you find good employment here that satisfies before you go winging away.
ReplyDeleteWow, that window photo is lovely! I hope it's not nearly as hot over there as it is here on the east side. My tomatoes (as just viewed this morning during their watering) are putting on the green fruit quickly now; I can't wait to pick the first red one. Hurrah for having done the miserable work of getting the garden planted this spring. And hurrah for the summer heat that's finally here--the tomatoes are loving it, even if I'm not.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for you Laurie - you worked hard, and the results look great. Crazy summer - hot yesterday and chilly today. Agree with Tanita about finding work locally.
ReplyDeleteDespite the chilly summer [which I'm loving] just counted 33 litttle tomatoes on my three plants!!
