It was delightful and a little startling that the entire wait staff recognized us and raced to give a table with hugs and flourishes. While we have eaten there quite a bit over 20 years, none of us had been there for over 3 years.

and finally, buttermilk-battered onion rings to eat while movie watching. A great Father's day--at least from my end.

I've never been to that Chinese restaurant - how lovely that they remember you! And SF looked terribly elegant and gorgeous from your pics - a nice place to escape the heat.
