I am now offically (or pseudo-paperly) a Washington driver. Now I can drive like the rest of the idiots around here. I've gotten hit three times this week--not injured, but brushed by stupid drivers who aren't paying ANY attention to the road or their driving.
The next paycheque will go towards license plates. Whew. All this legal living.

I'm still horrified by how I have lived in GLASGOW, where people cross the street at will -- LEGALLY -- and I've never been even brushed. But, my sister got hit by a car when it was icy in Alaska, so it's just that people aren't braking in time.
